Our mission is love.
Opera and music theater thrive because of the creative efforts of queer and transgender/gender-nonconforming artists, writers, composers, musicians, designers, directors, and technical professionals. At Jupiter, they take center stage.
Founded in Februrary 2023, we are not a production company but a score incubator: We solicit, develop, workshop, and demonstrate new scores created by our network of composers and writers.

The Scores You've Been Waiting For
For years, the arts administrators, performers, and audience members we talk to have expressed the desire for more and better LGBTQ+ stories. These shows are made to measure to address those needs: Strong characters who struggle through challenges but ultimately thrive, love and family stories that end happily, transitioning narratives that see the experience of becoming oneself through authentic eyes.

A Diverse Community of Artistic Excellence
Through slow growth and relationship-building, we have become a star-studded team of highly skilled and educated experts. Our members belong to every national professional organization with a stake in stagecraft, and we are proud to be both diverse and world-class artists.

Want to Audition?
We wish we were the kind of company that can easily and immediately hire every young performer in the world. But we're in our growth era.
Stay in touch, support us on your socials, harass your friends to donate, and hopefully we'll be able to open-call for singers and instrumentalists soon.
