Godric on the River

This full-length piece teems with mystery and magic as it follows the rites, ecstasies, anguish, and passion of a medieval hermit living on the banks of a northern English river during the time of the Norman Conquest. A heady blend of nature soundscapes recorded onsite at the now-ruined Finchale Priory, original music composed in neumes, and swelling instrumental/vocal ensemble sections, the piece is designed for a most exciting and unique performance in cathedrals.
